Have a question or need some help with your book format, cover layout or the self-publishing process? I offer a variety of consulting services and help for self-publishing authors struggling with formatting their own books and cover layouts or just have a question they need answered.

Services Offered

• Questions -  If you have a question regarding self-publishing, formatting, layout, etc., you can contact me via email or by phone at 770-309-8233.
  I do not charge for questions that only take a few minutes to answer, however, a small payment for my time if I was able provide you with the help needed is always appreciated. If you have received help and would like to send a small amount as thanks you can do so by using the PayPal button below.

  

  If your question requires more time to answer my rate is $35 per hour.

• Formatting Quality Check -  send me your formatted book to look over and give feedback and suggestions on how it could be improved. I will look at the overall styling, fonts used, line spacing, common formatting mistakes, margin settings, etc. I do not proofread or edit the document; my focus is on the styling only. However, if I do happen to notice any spelling or grammar errors I will point them out for you. This service requires that the book  be sent as a Microsoft Word document, PDF or a copy of the printed book via mail. You can email your book document to me or if too large for email you can upload it through my file exchange service. Cost: $35.00

• Document Troubleshooting/Help - if you have formatted your book in Microsoft Word and are having trouble with getting the running chapter headers, page numbers, table of contents, page breaks, etc., to work correctly you can send me your document to set them up right. For an estimate email me your Microsoft Word document along with a description of the problem and I will reply with an estimate to fix it.  If your document is too large for email you can upload it through my file exchange service. This is not a complete formatting service and only includes fixing the problem you are having. If you need full book formatting services click here. Rate: $35.00 per hour

• Book Cover Layout Help - if you have the layout and artwork for your book cover already complete but need help setting it up to meet your printer's requirements I can do that for you. Send me what work you already have completed and I will see what needs to be done and provide you with an estimate. For an estimate email me your files along with your printer's requirements or contact information (phone, email or URL).  If your files are too large for email you can upload it through my file exchange service. This is not a complete book cover layout service and only includes setting up your existing cover to meet your printer's requirements. If you need full book cover layout services click here. • Other - need help with something that is not covered here? Send me an email or call me at 770-309-8233 to describe what you need to see if I am able to help you.

Payment

An estimate and a link to submit a payment will be provided after you send in your documents or questions. Payments should not be made before an estimate is given as the cost may vary or in case I am unable to provide you with the help you need. I accept credit cards (American Express, Visa, MasterCard), PayPal or checks through the mail. I ask that you make the payment before I will begin work or provide asked for help.
