Know exactly what you want going in. If you're prepared, you can actually make use of this service. For the uninitiated or the unprepared, it is likely to be frustrating. Qualifier: I used the basic service with no add-ons. If you're spending thosands instead of hundreds, it might be a better deal. Their cover graphics were abysmal (I submitted my own cover design after giving their graphics department a try); they made mistakes in the text AFTER the first proofreading and correction, requiring a second round of corrections (at my expense); and, frankly, the books are expensive. They also continue marketing to me as if I've never published with them. That said, they were generally nice people, generally responsive, and they cut the royalty checks every quarter.
