When you create a PDF file of your book document you need to make sure you embed your fonts in the PDF file. This ensures that even if the person who opens the document does not have the font you used on their computer that they are able to view and print the file with the font you used.
Check with your PDF writer's user manual for information on how to embed fonts.
If you are using Adobe PDF as your printer to create your PDF:
Click on the Properties button for Adobe PDF in the print window.
Make sure the "Do not send fonts to Adobe PDF" is NOT checked.
If you use Adobe Distiller:
Click on Settings --> Edit Adobe PDF Settings.
Make sure Embed all fonts is checked
