Book Formatting Service

Our book formatting was created for self-publishing authors needing basic, text only, interior book design services.

With our service your book will be formatted in Microsoft Word and you will receive a print quality PDF of your finished book created using Adobe Acrobat which is accepted by the majority of book publishers and printers.

We charge only $99 per book of any length. Our price is per book, not per page so you know beforehand exactly what the cost will be.

Quick Turn Around

A PDF of your finished book layout will usually be available for your review within 5-7 business days (depending on our current work load and complexity of your book design) after we receive your book's contents. Need it faster? Let us know and we will do our best to meet your deadline.

Friendly, One on One Service

You will deal directly with your book formatter, Kimberly, who will be available by phone or email should you have any questions. She will keep in touch with you during the book formatting process to let you know its status and discuss any questions or issues that may arise.

Our Book Formatting Service Includes

• Layout of your book's interior in Microsoft Word including but not limited to the title page, copyright page, any front matter sections such as dedication, acknowledgments, table of contents that you need, chapters with your choice of headers and page number placement and back of book sections such as an about the author page as desired.

• Selection of a variety of suitable fonts and sizes for title page, chapter titles and chapter text. Not sure what to choose? We will select one for you to suit your book.

• Chapter formatting options such as where to start each new chapter, what you wish for the chapter headers, where to place the page numbers, the paragraph line spacing and indent. If you are not sure what the best choice for your book is let us pick the options we believe are most suited for your book.

• Digital delivery of your finished book's layout as: 1) a print quality PDF file created with Adobe Acrobat 8.0 using the PDF/X-1a 2001 standard.   2) a Microsoft Word .doc and Microsoft Word's new 2007 file format, .docx.
  A CD with your documents mailed to you is available for a small additional charge (USA only).

• Up to 30 minutes of revision work after receiving your book's first preview to correct any spelling, grammar or other errors on your part that you may of missed before sending us your documents.

• A FREE download version of our Press Release Wizard.

Our Service Does NOT Include

Our service does not include books with any images, tables or graphs, book cover design, indexing, proofreading, editing, spelling or grammar checks or similar special formatting or editing. Some of these services may be available at an additional cost. If you have special formatting please contact us to see if we are able to meet your needs and to receive a quote.

Book's written in languages other than English are not accepted. If your book is in another language but are still interested in our service please email us with a copy of your document so we can look it over to see if it is something we can work with.

You may deliver your book contents to us digitally in one of the following file formats: Microsoft Word (.doc), Text Files (.txt) or Rich Text File (.rtf). We cannot accept hardcopies.

Once we receive your order we will email you a webpage link and a username and password where you can go to submit your book's information, choose your formatting options and upload your book's content.
