Nonfiction Book Design
Our interior design for nonfiction books is for books that have any images, block quotes, simple tables, basic lists, charts or graphs, endnotes, or footnotes but do not have a bunch of images (more than 15), any images that require text wrap, pull quotes, side bars, complex tables, two-column layouts, or other complex elements. Books that have any of these items will require a custom quote.

Custom Book Design
Custom Layout
Are you unique? Then your book’s design should be too! Our Custom Book Design service offers you a custom layout created specifically for your book to make it stand out from the rest of the crowd. You will be able to communicate directly with your book’s designer, not a middleman, either over the phone or by email.
Our Custom Book Design service for nonfiction includes:
- Design of two layout concepts of one of your book’s chapters for review and feedback
- Consultation via phone or video conference with your book designer to discuss the concepts
- Two more design concepts, if needed, following your consultation
- Layout of your book’s interior in Adobe InDesign to the style of your approved concept
- Draft PDF of entire book for your review
- Up to 15 text corrections after you review the draft PDF at no additional charge; additional corrections are $1 each with a $10 PDF recreation fee after the third round
- Print-ready PDF set your printer’s requirements
- Up to 100,000 words (additional words are $15 per additional 5,000 words)
- Up to 15 images and/or graphics (additional images or graphics are $2 each)
- Up to 5 simple tables, graphs, or charts (additional items are $5 each)
- Up to 10 lists (additional lists are $2 each)
